Middle Market Business Financing · $500K–$30M · Dallas, Texas | Serving Clients Nationwide

Your Bank Has
a Checklist.
You've Never Seen It.

Most middle market business loans don't get declined because the company is weak. They get declined because nobody told the owner what the bank was actually looking for — and the package that went in didn't answer it.

GTE gets established companies funded — manufacturers, distributors, contractors, healthcare groups, carriers, staffing firms, restaurant and franchise operators, and property owners alike. Credit is graded the same way in every industry, and we know the checklist because we used to be the ones applying it: every engagement is led personally by Greg Ochs, a former bank Chief Credit Officer and CEO. We run your business through the same 41 factors your lender will score, fix what can be fixed, and build the complete lender-ready package your bank expects but will never hand you a template for.

About GTE

Institutional Banking Expertise: On Your Side

GTE advises closely held businesses and commercial real estate owners on establishing new financing, structuring debt, managing lender relationships, and navigating complex financial situations.

Your financing, debt, and lender matters are evaluated through the same lens institutional lenders use to assess risk, structure financing, and make credit decisions. Every engagement is handled at the principal level, on your side of the table, by a commercial banking executive who served as Chief Credit Officer and CEO, with three decades of experience in banking, finance, and private investment.

GTE evaluates, structures, and prepares financing transactions from the lender's perspective, with a clear understanding of how risk is assessed and what is required to support approval. Lenders assign each loan request an internal risk rating, a key indicator of whether the request is likely to advance through underwriting.

Using its proprietary 41 Point Financing Capacity & Lender Readiness Assessment, GTE develops a preliminary lender style credit rating, assesses financing feasibility, and identifies issues that could affect approval. GTE then addresses those issues before the lender is approached and builds the financing request around the business's capacity and the lender's decision process. The result is a stronger, more complete financing request positioned to advance efficiently through lender review.

About GTE

Executive Level Banking Experience:Now Working for the Business Owner

Many business owners face important debt, capital, lender, and transaction decisions without access to the kind of executive financial judgment lenders use internally. GTE Financial Capital was built to close that gap.

Why GTE Exists

Many business owners face important debt, capital, lender, and transaction decisions without access to the kind of executive financial judgment lenders use internally. GTE Financial Capital was built to close that gap.

GTE provides closely held businesses and commercial real estate owners with independent borrower side financial analysis, lender informed structure, and experienced financial judgment.

What GTE Brings

GTE's work is grounded in more than three decades of commercial banking, finance, advisory, and private investment experience, including 23 years at a nationally chartered commercial bank, where Greg served as Chief Credit Officer and CEO.

That experience gives clients a practical advantage: insight into how lenders evaluate risk, what credit committees expect, how financing should be structured, and where problems often arise before they become visible to the borrower.

This allows GTE to develop a more effective financing structure and a better prepared request, reducing unnecessary lender questions and supporting a more efficient review and decision process.

How GTE Evaluates and Prepares a Financing Request

1

Understand the Client's Objectives

GTE begins with a clear understanding of the client's objectives, the financing required, the business's financial position and capacity, existing lender relationships, timing, and any constraints affecting the request.

2

Establish the Lender Style Review of the Transaction

Lenders assign each loan request an internal multi-tiered risk rating as part of their credit evaluation. That rating is a critical indicator of whether the request is likely to advance or face an early declination. For that reason, GTE evaluates the request from the lender's perspective before lender engagement.

3

Apply the 41 Point Assessment

GTE applies its proprietary 41 Point Financing Capacity & Lender Readiness Assessment to develop a preliminary lender style credit rating, assess financing feasibility, and identify the financial and structural issues that influence the rating and impact the approval process.

4

Resolve or Mitigate the Issues

GTE works through the identified issues before lender engagement, resolving or restructuring what can be changed and mitigating remaining risks through improved structure, additional support, or appropriate credit enhancement.

5

Build and Position the Financing Request

GTE converts the analysis into a complete lender ready financing request built around the business's repayment capacity and a lender's decision process, with the structure, supporting analysis, risk mitigation, and presentation required for lender review. The result is a stronger, more credible position.

GTE works directly with business owners and, when appropriate, alongside legal, accounting, and other professional advisors.

Both sides of the financing relationship

Greg's experience spans both sides of the financing relationship, as a lender and executive decision maker and as a business owner, borrower, and investor. That combination shapes GTE's practical approach to financing, structure, risk, and lender decisions.

Who We Serve

For Business Owners Facing ImportantFinancing, Debt, Lender, and Transaction Decisions

GTE Financial Capital advises closely held operating companies and commercial real estate owners on important financing, debt structure, lender relationships, financial performance, stressed debt, and complex and unconventional transactions.

Who GTE Serves

GTE Financial Capital advises closely held operating companies and commercial real estate owners on important financing, debt structure, lender relationships, financial performance, stressed debt, and complex and unconventional transactions. For financing engagements, requests typically range from $500,000 to $30 million. Complex transactions and other advisory engagements are evaluated based on their scope, complexity, and the level of analysis required.

Clients generally fall into four situations.

1

The Financing Client

New Debt. Right Structure. Lender Ready.

These clients are preparing for new debt, a loan renewal, refinancing, capital investment, significant business change, or a complex or unconventional borrowing need. GTE evaluates the financing request, determines the appropriate debt structure, and aligns the request with the business's capacity and lender expectations before the lender is approached.

Even with a strong banking relationship, the lender's role is to evaluate risk while the borrower is seeking the best structure and outcome for the business. GTE brings an experienced borrower side perspective and develops a financing strategy designed to support the business both at closing and over time.

2

The Stressed Client

Managing Pressure. Protecting Options.

These clients may be dealing with debt service strain, covenant pressure, liquidity issues, rising leverage, loan maturity concerns, lender fatigue, economic pressures, or a changing lender credit appetite.

GTE assesses how the lender is likely evaluating the situation, develops a credible response and financial strategy, and pursues a constructive resolution before options narrow.

3

The Strategic Client

Using Outside Expertise Where It Matters

Strategic clients engage GTE for an experienced, independent view of their actual financial performance, debt capacity, capital structure, and lender readiness. The analysis is built specifically around the company's financial information, debt structure, operating performance, objectives, and lender position.

GTE presents this analysis in its Financial Performance & Lender Readiness Report, identifying performance trends, financial strengths, emerging risks, borrowing capacity, and potential lender concerns. The result gives the owner a bank level view of the business and a stronger foundation for lender discussions and important financial and business decisions.

4

The Transaction Client

Buying, Selling, or Evaluating a Business

These clients are considering the purchase or sale of a business, or another significant ownership transaction, and want experienced financial analysis before terms are finalized.

For buyers, GTE evaluates the proposed purchase price, financing structure, repayment capacity, liquidity, leverage, operating assumptions, and projected post closing financial position to determine whether the transaction can support the required debt and leave the business financially sound after closing. For sellers, GTE evaluates current market conditions and transaction activity, develops an internal valuation analysis using established financial methods such as discounted cash flow, and reviews transaction structure, buyer financial capacity, financing considerations, and other factors that may affect the likelihood and quality of closing.

The objective on either side is the same: give the client a clear, independent financial view of the transaction so they can determine whether the structure and outcome make sense before committing.

Every Situation Is Worth a Conversation

Many client situations do not fit neatly into one category. The most useful first step is a direct conversation about the business, the financing request, and the desired outcome.

Our Process

What WorkingWith GTE Looks Like

GTE engagements are built around understanding the situation, building the analysis, structuring the request, supporting execution, and staying aligned over time. Whether the matter involves new financing, lender negotiations, restructuring, or transaction support, the objective is the same: a clear, well-prepared outcome that serves the client and can be supported under lender review.

1

Understand the Situation

Every engagement begins with a direct review of the client's business, financial position, existing debt, lender relationships, objectives, and timing. GTE does not start with a template. We start with the facts.

2

Build the Analysis

GTE applies institutional level financial analysis to the client's situation, including balance sheet proportions, cash flow, collateral, guarantor capacity, economic conditions, stress testing, transaction structure, and risk identification and mitigation. For new financing or loan renewals, GTE applies its 41 Point Financing Capacity & Lender Readiness Assessment early to develop a preliminary lender-style credit rating, assess financing feasibility, and identify the financial and structural issues that influence the rating and impact the approval process.

The goal is to give the client the same financial visibility as their lender, so each recommendation is grounded in the business's financial performance, borrowing capacity, and long term direction.

3

Structure & Financing Package Development

When financing or lender engagement is required, GTE uses that analysis to address material issues before developing a lender ready financing package built around the issues institutional lenders will address. The package may include the financing narrative, financial analysis, proposed structure, repayment support, collateral analysis, global cash flow, stress testing, risk identification and mitigation, and clear support for the financing request.

4

Managing Execution

GTE remains directly engaged through lender discussions, term sheet review and negotiation, commercial review of loan agreement terms, underwriting questions, diligence, and closing. Every step is handled directly at the principal level.

5

Stay Aligned Over Time

For ongoing engagements, GTE provides the Financial Performance & Lender Readiness Report on a recurring basis to monitor financial performance and lender readiness, identify emerging risks early, and keep the business prepared for future financing, lender discussions, and critical business decisions.

Independent and Client Aligned

Many advisors bring experience from one side of the lending relationship. Greg brings both.

Banking Career

Executive Responsibility for Credit and the Institution

Greg spent 23 years with a nationally chartered commercial bank that grew to approximately $2.4 billion in assets, serving as Chief Credit Officer, CEO, board member, and principal shareholder.

His responsibilities included executive oversight of commercial lending, credit quality, underwriting standards, portfolio risk, lending policy, regulatory matters, and major credit decisions across commercial and industrial, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and commercial real estate.

As Chief Credit Officer and CEO, Greg held direct responsibility for both credit performance and the broader financial and strategic direction of the institution. During his leadership tenure, the bank consistently ranked among the strongest financial performers in its national peer group.

Why GTE

GTE Financial Capital brings executive level banking and financial judgment directly to business owners. Many companies face significant financing and lending decisions without access to the institutional banking perspective lenders use internally.

GTE provides that perspective independently, practically, and directly on behalf of the borrower.

Investor and Entrepreneur Perspective

He Has Made These Decisions With His Own Capital at Risk

Greg is also an active investor and business owner. He understands what it means to make financing decisions with personal capital at risk.

His experience outside banking includes business ownership, commercial real estate and private investments, and evaluating transactions from the borrower and investor side of the table. That perspective brings a practical understanding of leverage, liquidity, capital structure, risk, return, and the consequences of financing decisions beyond the lender's approval process.

That experience matters. It keeps GTE's work practical, outcome focused, and grounded in the same financial and business decisions GTE clients face themselves.

Standard of Work

GTE's standard is simple: do the work carefully, completely, and with the client's outcome as the measure of success. Every engagement is approached with that same standard.

Built Around the Financing IssuesBusiness Owners Actually Face

GTE evaluates and structures new financing and debt, prepares approval grade financing packages, works with existing or prospective lenders as appropriate, monitors changes in financial performance and the resulting impact on borrowing capacity and lender readiness, resolves stressed debt, and evaluates business acquisitions, sales, and other complex and unconventional transactions.

Service 01

New Financing & Loan Renewal Strategy

Financing strategy and structure developed from a Chief Credit Officer's perspective.

GTE evaluates new financing requests, loan renewals, and proposed debt structures, from routine to complex or unconventional, before the financing request is presented or a renewal is negotiated. Unlike lender matching platforms that primarily connect borrowers with multiple lenders, GTE performs the financial analysis and develops the financing strategy and structure itself. The objective is to align the request with the business's capacity, address and resolve likely lender concerns, and establish a financing approach the business can support.

Learn More

A financing request may include substantial financial information and still leave important questions for the lender to resolve. GTE evaluates the request from the perspective of the loan decision maker, develops the financing case, identifies likely lender concerns, and structures the request to withstand institutional scrutiny.

How It Works

GTE applies lender level financial discipline on the borrower's side before the lender sees the request. Lenders assign each loan request an internal risk rating, a critical indicator of whether the request is likely to advance or face an early declination. Using its proprietary 41 Point Financing Capacity & Lender Readiness Assessment, GTE develops a preliminary lender style credit rating, assesses financing feasibility, and identifies the financial and structural issues that influence the rating and impact the approval process.

GTE then works through those issues before lender engagement, resolving or restructuring what can be changed and mitigating remaining risks through improved structure, additional support, or appropriate credit enhancement. GTE also stress tests the proposed financing and develops a debt structure intended to be supportable based on the business's financial capacity and projected performance.

The result is a stronger, lender ready financing request positioned to advance through underwriting and support approval on terms the business can sustain. When appropriate, GTE develops the analysis and strategy into a complete lender ready financing package and presentation.

Service 02

Financing Package Development & Lender Presentation

A well structured financing request must also be clearly presented. GTE prepares lender ready financing packages designed to reduce underwriting friction, answer key lender questions, and present the borrower's request with clarity, discipline, and credibility.

This service may be engaged independently when the financing strategy and structure are already substantially developed and the primary need is preparation of a lender ready financing package and presentation.

Learn More

Financing requests are more likely to stall when the lender must fill analytical gaps, ask basic follow up questions, or work through an unclear financial story. GTE prepares financing packages with the level of organization and support institutional lenders expect when evaluating a financing request.

The package may include the financing narrative, financial statement analysis, cash flow support, debt service coverage, stress testing, collateral summary, guarantor support, proposed structure, risk identification and mitigation, and clear support for the recommended financing request.

This work is informed by direct experience preparing, reviewing, and approving credit packages from inside the banking system. The objective is to present a financing request that is clear, credible, and efficient for the lender to evaluate, while positioning the borrower for approval on a structure and terms the business can support.

Service 03

Lender Selection, Engagement & Negotiation

GTE works with the borrower's existing lender when appropriate and identifies, approaches, and negotiates with prospective lenders when additional or alternative financing is required.

This service may follow GTE's financing strategy and package development work or be engaged independently when the borrower already has a well developed financing request.

Learn More

Presenting a financing request to a lender whose credit appetite or structure does not fit the borrower can cost time, credibility, and negotiating leverage. GTE aligns the financing request with lenders that are more likely to understand the business, evaluate the request properly, and offer supportable terms.

This may include strengthening the request with an existing lender, broadening the lending relationship, or identifying an additional or alternative financing source. GTE participates directly in lender communication and manages request positioning, term sheet review and negotiation, commercial review of loan agreement terms, underwriting questions, diligence, and closing coordination.

The objective is a lender relationship and financing structure that fit the borrower's situation and longer term interests.

Service 04

Financial Performance & Lender Readiness Report

GTE provides business owners with a comprehensive written analysis of financial performance, borrowing capacity, emerging risks, and lender readiness. The report combines an institutional lender-format financial spread and trend analysis across crucial key metrics with GTE's proprietary 41 Point Financing Capacity & Lender Readiness Assessment.

Together, these analyses give owners an institutional view of the business, identify financial strengths and developing concerns, and show changes in borrowing capacity or structural issues that may affect future financing, lender relationships, and important business decisions.

Service 05

Stressed Debt Resolution & Realignment

GTE evaluates stressed debt situations involving debt service pressure, capital concerns, covenant issues, maturity or renewal concerns, liquidity constraints, lender fatigue, changing credit appetite, or deteriorating operating trends. GTE assesses the situation early, evaluates the lender's likely view, and develops a credible restructuring or resolution strategy before options narrow.

Learn More

When credit stress develops, timing and approach matter. Borrowers who engage their lender proactively, with a credible plan and a clear understanding of what the lender needs to evaluate, generally preserve more options than those who wait or react without preparation.

GTE develops a detailed financial and restructuring strategy supported by cash flow analysis, stress testing, collateral review, repayment capacity assessment, covenant analysis, and lender aware positioning. The goal is to arrive at the lender conversation with a practical plan the lender can evaluate and act on.

Potential outcomes may include debt restructuring, extension, forbearance, covenant modification, collateral realignment, liquidity support, asset disposition, capital injection, refinancing with an alternative lender when appropriate, or other negotiated solutions appropriate to the situation. The objective is not simply to reach an agreement, but to pursue a resolution the business can sustain over time.

Service 06

Business Acquisition & Sale Analysis

GTE provides independent financial analysis for business owners evaluating acquisitions, business sales, and ownership transactions, whether buying or selling, before terms are finalized. The objective is to determine whether the transaction is financially sound, properly structured, and positioned to support the business or the seller's desired outcome.

Learn More

A transaction may look attractive based on valuation or strategic fit but still create financial pressure if the structure is not properly analyzed. For buyers, GTE evaluates the proposed purchase price, financing structure, repayment capacity, liquidity, leverage, operating assumptions, and projected post closing financial position to determine whether the transaction can support the required debt and leave the business financially sound after closing. For sellers, GTE evaluates current market conditions and transaction activity, develops an internal valuation analysis using several established financial methods and measures, including discounted cash flow, and reviews transaction structure, buyer financial capacity, financing considerations, and other factors that may affect the likelihood and quality of closing.

The objective is to give the owner on either side of the table a clear, independent financial view of whether the transaction makes sense and leaves them positioned well after closing.

Signature Ongoing Advisory Service

Financial Performance & Lender Readiness Report

Many business owners receive periodic financial statements, but those statements alone do not show how performance is trending, how borrowing capacity is changing, or what may concern a lender.

GTE offers the Financial Performance & Lender Readiness Report as an ongoing advisory service for owners who want a recurring institutional view of the business as conditions change.

On a quarterly, semiannual, or annual basis, depending on the client's needs, GTE updates the institutional financial spread and analysis, reviews changes in key financial metrics, and applies the 41 Point Financing Capacity & Lender Readiness Assessment to evaluate changes in financing capacity, emerging risks, and the business's position for future financing and lender discussions.

Each update highlights material trends, developing concerns, and matters requiring management attention, together with practical observations and recommendations. The objective is to keep owners well informed, financially prepared, and better positioned for lender discussions, capital decisions, growth, acquisitions, and other significant business decisions.

GTE prepares a written Financial Performance & Lender Readiness Report based on the company's financial statements, operating results, debt obligations, and lender relationship information.

Part One

Institutional Financial Spread and Trend Analysis

The report includes a comprehensive financial spread and analysis presented in institutional lender format for the borrowing entities, covering each entity's four most recent fiscal year ends together with the current interim period.

Key financial and operating metrics are analyzed on a comparative and trend basis, providing a clear view of changes in earnings, leverage, liquidity, cash flow, debt service capacity, balance sheet strength, and overall financial performance over time.

This historical and current period analysis allows GTE to identify developing trends, changes in financial capacity, and issues that may affect lender decisions before they become more significant.

Part Two

Your Loan Will Be Graded. That Grade Matters.

The report also incorporates GTE's proprietary 41 Point Financing Capacity & Lender Readiness Assessment. Using the 41 Point Assessment, GTE develops a preliminary lender-style credit rating and evaluates financial and structural strengths, collateral support, stress-tested performance, lender-facing concerns, and opportunities for risk mitigation across six key decision areas.

This gives the owner a lender-style view of how the loan relationship is likely to be evaluated and identifies the issues that may impact future financing or lender decisions. Together, the financial spread and the 41 Point Assessment provide a more complete view of borrowing capacity and lender readiness.

The completed report combines financial analysis, lender style observations, practical recommendations, and clear graphics to give the owner a comprehensive institutional view of the business and its lender readiness.

Experience

Real Transactions.Real Outcomes.

The following examples illustrate the judgment, structure, experience, and execution GTE brings to client situations. Each involved a different challenge but the same standard of work: understanding the business, structuring the situation properly, preparing the financial package or transaction clearly, and executing with discipline toward a practical, well supported outcome.

Case 01

The Time Critical Acquisition

Challenge

An established client had the opportunity to acquire a global operating company through a competitive bid process. The transaction required an approximately $30 million financing commitment within five business days for the client's bid to remain competitive.

Greg's Role

During his tenure as Chief Credit Officer of a nationally chartered commercial bank, Greg rapidly evaluated the acquisition and proposed financing, structured the credit request, and prepared the institutional level approval package. The financing had to be fully analyzed, supportable, and approved within the transaction deadline, not simply proposed or preliminarily discussed.

Result

The approximately $30 million financing commitment was delivered within the required five business day timeframe. The client won the bid, completed the acquisition, expanded the acquired business, and later sold it at a substantial multiple of the original purchase price.

Case 02

The Structure That Did Not Exist

Challenge

An established business owner sought financing for a significant capital asset acquisition in an out of favor sector where conventional lenders were reluctant to engage because of perceived risk and collateral volatility. The challenge was not simply finding financing, but developing a structure the bank could support.

Greg's Role

As the bank's Chief Credit Officer, Greg worked directly with the client to develop a nontraditional but supportable financing structure. He and the client met with the CFO of a public company expected to be the primary user of the equipment, and that relationship became an important part of the solution. The final structure incorporated a third party operating relationship and equity participation designed to mitigate the bank's risk and make the financing workable.

Result

The initial transaction closed successfully. The structure proved repeatable, and three additional financings followed, bringing total financing to approximately $8.75 million and materially expanding the client's business.

Related service: Financing Package Development & Lender Presentation →

Case 03

The Strategic Asset Sale

Challenge

A business owner engaged GTE to facilitate the asset sale of a specialized operating business, including trademarks and intangible assets, in a sector with a limited buyer pool and unique financing requirements.

GTE's Role

GTE prepared the seller's transaction package, identified a strategic buyer with the right operational fit, and negotiated the transaction. When the buyer was unable to produce a complete financing package for its lender, the transaction faced an additional hurdle. GTE stepped in to structure the financing request and prepare a lender ready package that incorporated a seller note, additional credit enhancement, and a loan structure designed to support the buyer's financing while protecting the seller's transaction.

Result

The financing was completed, the transaction closed as a strategic acquisition, and the acquired business and assets were integrated into the buyer's existing operations.

Related service: Business Acquisition & Sale Analysis →

Case 04

The Long Term Relationship

Challenge

A former banking client, whose relationship with Greg began with a modest loan early in his career, sought his guidance years later when preparing to sell the business he had built.

GTE's Role

GTE reviewed the company's financial information, developed the transaction package, identified qualified broker dealers, and worked with the owner to evaluate and select the firm best suited to represent the business. The objective was not simply to initiate a sale process, but to position the company appropriately and engage professionals capable of reaching the right buyers.

Result

In this unique transaction, the selected firm completed a strategic sale to a private equity group at more than 225% of the seller's initial sales price expectation.

Related service: Business Acquisition & Sale Analysis →

Case 05

The Core Engagement

Challenge

A creditworthy business with a substantial existing lending relationship identified an opportunity to expand into power generation through the acquisition of approximately $7.5 million of equipment. The new product line fell outside the purpose and structure of the company's existing dedicated credit facility, requiring a separate financing strategy that could support the expansion without disrupting the established lending relationship.

GTE's Role

GTE evaluated the new business line and developed a lender ready financing package addressing the transaction's post closing impact on asset utilization, sales, EBITDA, debt service coverage, leverage, liquidity, and overall financial capacity. GTE then identified a lender with whom it had an established relationship that was well suited to the transaction, presented the financing request, and managed the process through staged funding as the new product line expanded.

Result

The financing was successfully completed through multiple advances, providing the capital needed to support the client's expansion into power generation while preserving the structure and purpose of its existing credit facility.

For Lenders & Professional Advisors

Borrower side credit and financing advisory led by a commercial banking executive who served as Chief Credit Officer and CEO.

Overview

When a Client May Benefit From Experienced Borrower Side Advisory

This page outlines when a client may benefit from experienced borrower side credit and financing advisory.

GTE is led by a commercial banking executive who served as Chief Credit Officer and CEO, with 23 years of banking experience, including executive lending and credit responsibility at a $2.4 billion nationally chartered commercial bank, with work across C&I, energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and commercial real estate. GTE applies that same institutional level credit judgment on the borrower's side to financing, restructuring, lender relationships, and significant financial and transaction decisions. All engagements are confidential, with one goal: position the client to become, or remain, a strong, bankable credit, including with the existing lender when that is the right path. Typical financing requests range from $500,000 to $30 million. Other referrals may involve stressed debt, lender relationships, financial performance and lender readiness, or complex and unconventional transactions. These are evaluated based on scope and complexity.

When a Referral May Make Sense

A Referral Can Be Worth Exploring When a Client:

  1. Needs experienced guidance on new financing, a loan renewal, refinancing, or a more complex or unconventional debt structure.
  2. Has substantially developed the financing strategy but needs a comprehensive lender ready financing package and presentation.
  3. Needs to strengthen an existing lender relationship or identify, approach, or negotiate with an additional or alternative lender.
  4. Would benefit from ongoing financial performance and lender readiness analysis to identify emerging risks and remain prepared for future lender discussions.
  5. Is under financial or lender pressure and needs a credible restructuring, realignment, or resolution strategy before options narrow.
  6. Is evaluating a business acquisition, sale, or significant ownership transaction and would benefit from independent financial and transaction analysis.

For a referring lender, this often means a quicker, clearer path to a well supported financing or resolution decision. For attorneys and CPAs, it means the client receives experienced credit and financial analysis alongside the legal and accounting work already being provided.

What GTE Does

41 Factors. Six Key Decision Areas.

Using GTE's proprietary 41 Point Financing Capacity & Lender Readiness Assessment, GTE evaluates the client across 41 factors organized into six key decision areas to assess overall credit capacity, identify financial and structural strengths, surface issues likely to concern a lender, and determine where risks can be reduced or mitigated. The assessment is grounded in the type of risk rating discipline institutional lenders use internally but applied on the borrower's side before the financing request reaches the lender.

From there, GTE develops the analysis and strategy appropriate to the situation. Depending on the engagement, this may include financing structure, a lender ready financing package, lender selection and negotiation, financial performance and lender readiness analysis, risk mitigation and stress testing, or a restructuring and resolution strategy. The objective is to give the client a clear, well supported strategy and the lender a credible request that can be efficiently evaluated and acted upon.

Important Positioning

GTE partners with clients to keep them well prepared and well informed, not to compete with the professionals already involved. GTE does not provide legal or tax advice and works alongside counsel and accountants, not in their place.
